What are the current locknuts and what are their characteristics?

Anti-loosening nuts include non-metallic nested nuts, embedded steel sheet nuts, embedded spring steel wire nuts, flange indentation nuts, flattened nuts, etc. Non-metallic nested nut GB889 (namely nylon lock nut): This kind of lock nut has no anti-loose property, only some anti-off property. It clamps the bolt by the tension of the nylon ring.
Embedded steel sheet nut GB6187 (metal lock nut): The essence is that the embedded steel sheet is perpendicular to the nut axis and parallel to the end face of the nut. The tooth profile angle and pitch of the last thread are changed by the embedded steel sheet, and the steel sheet is used Its own elasticity prevents loosening, and the anti-loose effect is weak, so it can be used for one time.
Spring wire nut (that is, wire thread insert): There are two parts inside the nut. The pitch of the spring is different from the pitch of the thread. The inner diameter of the spring is small, and it has a little anti-falling property. Flattened nut (three-head flattened nut): In good conditions, it is equivalent to the combination of ordinary nut and lock nut, with certain anti-loosening performance, but the consistency is very poor, and it is not suitable for multiple use. Flange indentation type lock nut (that is, nut with flower teeth on the flange surface): This kind of nut basically has no anti-loosening effect, and its indentation surface has a higher friction coefficient than that of a smooth nut. That's it. But this has nothing to do with the anti-loosening performance, because the loosening is the first loosening and then rotating. If it is loosened, there is no positive pressure, and the friction coefficient is useless no matter what.
The anti-loosening nut has strong abrasion resistance and shear resistance: the 30-degree slope of the thread bottom of the anti-loosing nut can make the nut locking force evenly distributed on all the threads of each tooth, because the pressing force on each thread surface is evenly distributed Therefore, the locknut can better solve the problems of thread wear and shear deformation.
